Last night at dinner, I was talking to my 6 year old about her math test. After telling me that she aced her test, she said that she remembered one of my math problems (that she had seen lying in my office from last quarter). “You know Daddy the one that had e+f” (it was really x-e, but close).
She was excited because she had aced her math test and thought she’d remembered something from my math class. Then, my 4 year old piped in and put us all in perspective. She said, “yeah, but you know guys coloring is funner.” She had been coloring while the elder one was taking her math test.
Boy, I wish I was coloring right now.
